Quick Search documentation

A search box in the admin bar that finds posts, pages, settings screens and common actions as you type, with fuzzy matching for typos.

Overview

Getting to a setting means remembering which menu a plugin hid it under. On a busy admin that’s a lot of clicking around.

Plan: Pro. Requires an active WP Extended Pro licence.

Setup

  1. Go to WP Extended in your WordPress admin and find Quick Search under Admin Tools.
  2. Switch Quick Search on.
  3. There is nothing to configure. The module works as soon as it is on.

Questions and troubleshooting

Is Quick Search free?

No. It is part of WP Extended Pro.

It isn’t working as expected

Check the module is switched on and its settings are saved. If another plugin does the same job, deactivate one of them. Then clear any page cache and test again. Still stuck? Pro customers can contact support; free users can post on the WordPress.org forum.

Developers
