Hide Admin Bar documentation
Hide the black admin bar on the front end for the roles that shouldn’t see it, such as subscribers, customers or members.
Overview
On membership and WooCommerce sites, customers who log in see a WordPress toolbar at the top of every page. It looks broken and links them into an admin they shouldn’t use.
Plan: Free + Pro options. The options marked Pro below need WP Extended Pro.
Setup
- Go to WP Extended in your WordPress admin and find Hide Admin Bar under Admin Tools.
- Switch Hide Admin Bar on.
- Open its settings, adjust the options below and save.

Questions and troubleshooting
Is Hide Admin Bar free?
Yes. Hiding the bar for any role except Administrator is free. WP Extended Pro adds the Administrator role.
It isn’t working as expected
Check the module is switched on and its settings are saved. If another plugin does the same job, deactivate one of them. Then clear any page cache and test again. Still stuck? Pro customers can contact support; free users can post on the WordPress.org forum.
