Disable Auto Updates documentation
Choose which parts of WordPress update themselves. Turn off core, plugin, theme or translation updates entirely, or only for specific plugins and themes.
Overview
Automatic updates are convenient until one breaks a client site overnight. Sites with custom code or strict testing need updates to happen when someone is watching.

Questions and troubleshooting
Is Disable Auto Updates free?
No. It is part of WP Extended Pro.
Will I still see that updates are available?
Yes. Updates still appear in Dashboard → Updates, so you can run them yourself.
It isn’t working as expected
Check the module is switched on and its settings are saved. If another plugin does the same job, deactivate one of them. Then clear any page cache and test again. Still stuck? Pro customers can contact support; free users can post on the WordPress.org forum.
