Clean Dashboard documentation
Remove the news feeds, plugin promos and widgets nobody reads from the dashboard, one by one or all at once.
Overview
Every plugin seems to add a dashboard widget. Clients log in to a wall of upsells and WordPress news instead of anything useful.
Plan: Pro. Requires an active WP Extended Pro licence.
Setup
- Go to WP Extended in your WordPress admin and find Clean Dashboard under Admin Tools.
- Switch Clean Dashboard on.
- Open its settings, adjust the options below and save.
Settings
| Setting | What it does | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Disable All Widgets | Disable all dashboard widgets. | Pro |
| Dashboard Widgets | Select the widgets you want to disable. | Pro |
Questions and troubleshooting
Is Clean Dashboard free?
No. It is part of WP Extended Pro.
Can I keep some widgets?
Yes. Choose the widgets to disable and leave the rest.
It isn’t working as expected
Check the module is switched on and its settings are saved. If another plugin does the same job, deactivate one of them. Then clear any page cache and test again. Still stuck? Pro customers can contact support; free users can post on the WordPress.org forum.
Developers
